1988 – 2006
It is with great pleasure and honor that we announce the induction of South Australian legend John Michelson into the ADDA Hall of Fame.
Mr Michelson started his Demolition Derby career at Mt Gambier on the 9th of January 1988. Mr Michelson’s exceptional skill, dedication, and passion for demolition derby made him a true legend in the sport.
Mr Michelson competed in a whopping 151 Demolition Derby events during his career, making a name as a hard hitting driver. However, with 29 Championships under his belt, Mr Michelson was also a highly skilled wheelman and could battle with the best that South Australia had to offer.
On the 18th of March 2006 Mr Michelson won his final championship at Mt Gambier in what would be his final Demolition Derby event.
Mr Michelson’s unwavering commitment to the sport has inspired countless fans and fellow competitors. Your sportsmanship, courage, innovation and skill have left an indelible mark on the South Australian demolition derby community.
The Australian Demolition Derby Association is thrilled to recognize his outstanding contributions and welcome Mr Michelson into the ranks of our esteemed ADDA Hall of Fame members.
Mr Michelson induction is a testament to his extraordinary talent and dedication to the Sport.
