2026 ADDA VIC Championship

Brock Clayton Crowned First-Ever ADDA Victorian Derby Champion Avalon Raceway.

History was made on 3rd January 2026 as the Australian Demolition Derby Association (ADDA) crowned its first ever Victorian Derby Champion at Avalon Raceway—and the name etched into the record books is Brock Clayton.

A 1,600 km Mission for Glory Brock Clayton and his brother Jamie Clayton didn’t just show up—they committed. The Clayton brothers hauled more than 1,600 kilometres from New South Wales to take on Victoria’s toughest demolition derby drivers, each arriving armed with a Mitsubishi 380 built to battle. From the moment engines fired, it was clear they hadn’t come for a holiday—they came to win.

The Demo Derby: Pure, Unfiltered Mayhem

The Victorian Championship Demo Derby delivered everything fans could hope for. Heavy hits, relentless attacks, and cars pushed well beyond their limits kept the crowd on its feet. This was demolition derby at its rawest—no holding back, no second chances. The atmosphere crackled as the field thinned and the battle intensified.

Brothers at War

As the dust settled, it came down to an unforgettable showdown: Brock vs Jamie Clayton. Two brothers, two battered Mitsubishi 380s, one historic title on the line. In a brutal test of durability and determination, Brock’s 380 held together just long enough to outlast Jamie, leaving Brock as the last man standing and the inaugural ADDA Victorian Derby Champion. A Performance for the Ages Special recognition goes to Rhys Haack, who made the long haul from Queensland and delivered a performance that won’t be forgotten. Piloting what could only be described as a very unique ute by the end of the night, Rhys embodied the spirit of the sport—tough, inventive, and never backing down. A Milestone for Victorian Derby This event marked more than just a win; it symbolised the growth of ADDA and the expansion of elite demolition derby competition across Australia.
